Board Description
The fish is a classic shape that started as a kneeboard design. However its use got widespread. We took the principles that make a fish and tweak them a bit to create our version.
Waves
The fish is thought as a small wave board but this board can work everywhere.
Sizing
This board should be ridden short given its flatness. So aim for about 4″ shorter of what you normally ride.
Tech Specs
Rocker
The rocker of this board is the original Steve Lis rocker with a slight tweak in the tail. It’s super flat and then kicks slightly of the tail.
Bottom
Rolled bottom all the way with a single concave channel that starts in front of the fins. Given its width, we included a slight concaved channel to allow the board pivot easier from rail to rail.
Rails
The rails are full pinched down rails as the traditional fish is keeping its thickness up towards the nose giving plenty of volume under the chest and then they get refined as they get to the fins to give that connection with the face of the wave.
Outline
Steve lis outline with a really slight pull in the nose and the tail.
