The Small Waves destroyer
Fun and high-performance surfing in small sloppy waves is what the Wabi was designed for. A combination of flat rocker, bottom contours and fuller rails and outline allow this board to inject every session with more joy.
Wabi comes from the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi which where one of its main characteristics is the simplicity of its design.
Tons of speed and maneuverability in this board that flies through flat sections and fits in tighter pockets and why not, give you the speed to get that air game going.
You can try this board with a quad set up for a bit more drive and speed down the line or use it as a thruster for more release off the tail.
The features are: flat rocker with a fuller plain shape with more area through nose and tail, more rail volume for stability, single to double concave to a slight vee in the exit, makes the board take off fast, speed down the line, good rail to rail performance and release off the top.
This board is recommended for grovelling size to shoulder high waves. Order it 1 to 2 inches shorter than your normal shortboard and ½ an inch or 1 inch wider keeping the thickness the same given the rails are fuller. You’d be half to a litre over in volume.
