The ride

What the Buri is here to do.

In the water

1–4ft beachies and points. Early entry, down-the-line speed, and that "jetpack" surge off the bottom. Tight in the pocket, fast out of the lip, no drama.

Who it suits

Surfers who love fish glide but want more bite and control—especially if twin fins feel too slidey or hard to turn.

As featured in Surfing Life

“It's like it's got a couple of jetpacks fixed to the back... it just goes whoosh and shoots you up to the lip with a crazy acceleration like I'd never felt before!”

Design and response

Why it feels that way.

Each feature has a job. These are the parts of the design that change how the board paddles, carries speed, holds and turns.

01

Rocker

Low-to-moderate—flat between the feet for instant speed, with a touch of tail lift so it frees up on command.

02

Bottom

Single entry → deep double through the centre → quad concave between the side and rear fins for lift, hold, and snap; subtle release channels out the tail for a crisp exit.

03

Rails

Modern medium (not old-school down)—forgiving into turns, positive through the fins.

04

Outline & Tail

Generous forward plan shape for paddle power; straighter mid for carry; swallow tail for bite and release.

05

Fins

Quad only—the engine room for speed and control.

Before you decide

Useful answers.

Read the surfboard order policy
Can I order this model without a Design Session?

Yes. Choose one of the published dimension sets and order it from this page. A Design Session is only for a board that needs changes or a decision that still needs personal input.

What can be changed on a bespoke version?

The model stays the starting point. Dimensions, volume, construction, fin setup, colours and logos can be worked through before you approve the final specification.

How long will the board take?

Build timing depends on the current queue and the agreed specification. Freddy confirms the current estimate before a bespoke commission proceeds.

What happens after I order a standard size?

Checkout records the model, dimensions and price you selected. Freddy then confirms the order details and next build steps with you. Collection or delivery is agreed for the finished board.
