Yūgen surfboards are functional works of art that look and surf amazing! I’ve known Freddy through countless AM surf sessions together over the past three years. It’s been awesome to witness his evolution as a shaper. I recently re-tooled my quiver and really wanted a couple solid boards for local surfing. I’ve typically shied away from custom orders in the past, but in this case it was really a no-brainer. Not only has Freddy refined his shapes on the same waves I surf, he’s very familiar with my surfing. I couldn’t be happier with the two boards he shaped for me. To be honest, I was a little bit sceptical on how good it could be a surfboard without those big brands logos, but Yugen proove me wrong. The materials and engineeing behind this boards are amazing!
